The only solution to the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula was to fulfill disarmament of nuclear weapons on both sides, when hostile relations persisted on the peninsula, the official KCNA news quoted a military spokesman as saying Monday.
　　The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) will never drop nuclear weapons, if the United States didn't end its hostile policy and erased nuclear threat against the DPRK, a spokesman for the General Staff of the Korean People's Army said.
　　The goal of the denuclearization was to realize denuclearization of the whole Korean peninsula, not to destroy unilaterally the nuclear weapons of the DPRK, he said. And the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula should be realized through the verification in the whole peninsula under any circumstances, he added.
　　The latest round of the six-party talks ended earlier December without a deal on nuclear verification, as the DPRK and the United States differed over related issues.
