Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping said here Tuesday that new efforts are needed to further promote China-Mexico economic and trade cooperation amid the current global financial crisis.
　　Xi, who is here for a three-day official visit, made the call in a speech at a luncheon jointly hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Mexican Trade and Investment Promotion Agency and the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology.
